Mat Attack

I had a mat attack thanks to mom!!  I'm very very upset with her, but it's all taken care of now with a lot of hard work and patience.

What happend was, mom gave me a bath last Thursday, and instead of blowing me dry and brushing me, she left me run around, roll around on the couch, roll on the floor, jumping through the air...which cause tangling of my sexy fur!  But once it dried and mom brushed it, she knew she did wrong, and my fur wasn't so sexy anymore.

With the help of claire, they got me mat free...I FEEL good!!!

I don't know about the rest of you, but when I get a treat, I hang on to it for awhile.

I think mom needs to find these bully sticks that she's been hearing about...I'd sure like to try one.  Boomer and Mr H sure seem to like them.

Helping mom bake a cake...

Last night I helped mom bake a cake.......well helped clean up

We made a yellow cake with chocolate icicing...they say it was good.

Its 1 year today when mom and dad came to visit me...

Look how excited Abby is that Momma Angie and Daddy Doug came to visit her. Actually, she's exhausted. She ran around, hopped like a bunny, gave kisses and generally showed off! What a nice couple. Abby lucked out when this loving family found her. We hoped they didn't like her so we could keep her, but that was never going to happen. Guess we'll have to enjoy the next three weeks before she leaves us. Fortunately, they have a cabin in Potter Co just an hour from us. We'll see this little angel again and again.

This was taken off of Mary's blog.  Today it is one year since we met Mary, Philip, Abby and the mob.  I handled seeing Abby for the first tiem very well, and I was ok leaving her with Mary and Philip for another 3 weeks.  I knew she was in good hands and paw care.

As you can see.......we're ready for the big Daytona 500 race!  One of mom's favorite drivers are Tony Stewart, she has a lot more diecast cars than this and they are all signed by the man himself.

Hey Everybody!!

Today I got a bath...mostly because the snow is melting and it's 60 some degrees outside.  Lots and lots of mud and of course...I found it!!

Anyways...mom left me loose in the house after I got my bath.  I always try to dry myself by running really really fast...the faster I run, the quicker I dry.

And....I got some good news today when mom got home from work.  Mom is home for the long president's day weekend.  Yippeeeeeeee!!!!!!

I had visitors today....

We had visitors today, Pap Lucas's friends from Virginia stopped in to see me.  Well let me tell you.....I really like Charlie, he's the one holding me in the photo.  Mark was playing with me as well.  Amanda had me to some tricks and I did very good.  I think Patty was scared of me....I'm not sure.

Superbowl Eve....

Hey Everybody...

Today is what mom calls a lazy Saturday.  Just hanging around home watching tv and getting ready for tomorrow big game.

Also...last night was my first night of classes.  I'm now taking advance courses and this time dad gets to go along since he doesn't work Friday's.  Last night we learned how to have me sit and let strangers come up and pet me while staying in a stay position.  Kay (instructor) told us that we work very well together.

I sent a picture to Kim this afternoon...I have to get mom to upload the photo from her phone.  It was me laying by the door looking out...maybe, just maybe I can see Mr H. from here.

Hey Everybody

Mom was called off work today due to snow storm, I think she'll be off tomorrow because they are calling for ice up to 1/2 inch.

Today we just played and played.  I wish she was home everyday, but she likes getting out the house to.

We are also doing some housework to, not much though.  Mom has a bad cold and runs out of energy quick, so I'll give her five minutes of rest then I'm back for more.

We were able to catch up on One Life to Live today.  Half of mom's favorite actors from Guiding Light are on that show.
