Ok...mom and dad were at the Finger Lakes wine fest in Watkins Glen at the race track.
They took the paracord items up to sell and make. Mom was sort of prepared, but like she says, now I know what to expect for next year.
Anyways....a lady came in and said she'd like a ankle bracelet. She told us she works for a military hospital and can't wear bracelets, so that's why she asked for the ankle bracelet. She picked her design which was the king cobra design using ACU and Black colors.
Do I have everything right so far??

Ok...about a couple hours later she came back to pick up her ankle bracelet, She loved it and bought one for her daughter. Before leaving she gave mom a hug and thanked her for what she's done and that she has no idea what it means to her. Mom would have liked to talk to her more, but they were very busy with people coming in buying and ordering.
This was on mom's mind all day Sunday that she was hoping this lady would have at least picked up a business card. Later that night she wrote a little note on our abby survival bracelets website what has happened and that if she's was reading it to contact her.

I think mom was prepared not to hear from this lady. And it's like she said, I tried and it's the only way I know how to try to find her.
4 days went past and an email came in. Mom saw the email and opened it....it was the lady that bought the bracelet. Her name is Christina. She went to the site to order more bracelets and saw the post mom written. She says in the email " carry the colors of the nation we defend on my skin - but when I'm not in
uniform, I didn't have a way to be connected to my brothers/sisters in arms. Now
I do thanks to you :))"
Christina also asked if I do any work for the wounded soldiers project stating that some of the vets there have lost arms/hands and since we do custom made pieces it would be an option for them.
She also sent a picture of her and her daughter who is in basic camp training. She'll be graduating the end of August.
