Hey Everybody!!

I've been working my little paws off this week getting info on opening my very own dog bakery.  Yep, you read right.....my very own dog bakery.  So far we have 2 recipes, and let me tell you...they are soooooooo gooooooood!!

We came up with some names for treats...but you'll have to wait and see what they are.....Mr H's mom knows what they are......so if it gets out.  I know where to bark to.

Mom and Dad home from vacation.....

Hey Everybody!!

Mom and Dad got home from their vacation a day early.  The weather played a major part in why they came home early....so they say.  I know the real reason, they just missed me so much!!  But I didn't miss them....no sir!  I was having a ball playing with Jimmy and fighting with Sandy during the night.  She got up one night and came back in the room and I was laying on her pillow!!  She tried to move me, but I wouldn't budge.  So she had to lay down at the end of the bed where I was supposed to!!  I must say......I have the life!!

They took really good care of me, they cleaned my ears for me too!  But the really really good part, they fed me egg and cottage cheese every morning for breakfast.  Jimmy said I was really good for them, I had no accidents in the house, I slept through the night except the first night.....I thought I heard something, but it turned out to be nothing. 

Mom brought me a new toy home....it's a floppy moose.  Dad wanted mom to see a moose in the worse way, but no such luck.  She said not to worry about it, she seen one in Alaska.

On the way home, they stopped at a place and got live lobsters to bring home.  Each lobster was about $10.00 a peice for 1lb and 1/4 pound.  Dad got it out of the cooler for me to check out......

Hello Mr. Lobster man.....I'm not to sure about this

I'm not liking this....look as far I'm stretching out here.

So...I got to meet this lobster.  Well....let me tell you, I didn't like Mr. Lobster, he was upset because there were rubber bands on his claws.....I'm sure I would have gotten clawed by him if there wasn't anything holding them shut.

Later that day, mom got the fire going in the firepit, and soon dad was boiling water.  They steamed the lobsters over the fire.....and mom said, "This time I'm not getting steamed, like the cook at work did on her."  Can you imagine someone turning the release valve on the steamer (big pressure cooker) while mom was cleaning the hood vents.  She had minor burns in her face and inside her nose.  The worse part is...the lady knew she was there but did it anyways.

Yesturday I was at the vet, I've been having some ear problems.  The vet said mom's doing a good job cleaning what she can get at, but the infection is deep inside my ears.  I have to see a specialist on Friday.  One of the things the vet said was....they may have to put me under to clean my ears out.  They'll flush my ears and put meds in to take care of it.  I have the worse bacteria I can get.

Last night mom and Kathy were talking online.  Kathy gave some good pointers.  She said instead of me drinking out of a bowl, have me drink out of a cup, then my ears won't get wet cause dampnest and some water to go in my ears.  Anytme I get a bath, wipe and dry my ears as quickly as possible.  Mom actually thought back to when this may have happened.  She gave me a bath and put cotton balls in my ears.  Well they came out and mom didn't know it, so she's figuring that's how I probably go the infection.

Ok....this was a catch up post....now we're up to date.

Paw Smack to Mom

Yeah, you...with the camera...time to update my blog.

Hey Everybody...

I had to give a paw smack to mom last night to get moving and update my blog.  She's starting to slack off here a bit and there's no reason for it.  It's not like she's working everyday, so there's time in her day to do this. 

I think I have to have a talk with my big brother Mr. H and his mom B.....better yet, perhaps the firedogs mom can help getting these two going.  Gma Mary....you can step in here anytime to get them moving to!!

Hey Everybody!!

Mom is updating her blog today like she promised.

She's working on a little video to post on here as well....that is in the making right now as she's typing this up.

As for the reunion.....I had a blast!!  There's going to be a 2nd reunion next year, alot of people that couldn't make it this year wish they could have.....so we'll look for the next year.

Also.....when Mr H arrived at the park, we heard him barking as they drove past.  Mom, Dad and I went over to the truck....he had to show off his dominance over his dually.....that is HIS truck!  Not to worry, I gave him a paw smack along side the head later showing him who's boss.  He didn't like that, but he got over it.  He turned out to be a very good boy, I think it's because of the paw smack.

It was sure nice to see Nanny Janice again, she's just a delight.  Bob and Sherri came with Dove.  Don and Joanne with Bailey and Chey.  Karen Rogowski with Hershey, Ted and Judy with Max and Jack, Craig and Beth with Sammy and Jed, Kevin and Marsha with the Firedogs, Nanny Janince with Shooter, Jerrah with Bogie, Kim with Mr H and Mrs B, Doug and Angie with me, my brother sparky that came with Beth and Craig....I don't have their names at the moment.

Gma Mary, Gpa Philip.  There was one thing missing from this.....you guys.  But we all understand the situation was just not the right time.....we all would have felt bad if something bad would have happened.  This day was for you two, you brought us all together, and I'm thinking more are getting together next year.  Something that just started out as......"wonder if there's a place where we could all meet?" to having it happen.  What started out as a dream turned into reality....the .reality was the best!  The weather was perfect.

SBG Family Reunion at Knoebels

Hey Everybody!!

Today we had our 1st Reunion at Knoebels Grove Amusement Park.  I must say it was a greeeaaaattt day!!  Weather was perfect, couldn't ask for it to be better.  All of our friends came, and mom dognapped Brinkley......but had to give him back.

This is short for right now.....but trust me....there will be ALOT more of this special day!!

Busy Day getting ready.....

Hey Everybody!!

Mom just saw Mr. H's blog and he made the comment that I'm supposed to double paw smack my mom because she didn't update my blog today.  I decided to cut her some slack today, she had a doctor appt in Danville this morning......she drove across the bridge in Danville that Mr H will be crossing.  And she drove past rt 487 where everybody will be turing to go into the park.  Once she got home, she mowed the grass again.....cleaned out the car, started packing for her vacation, cleaned up the house, brushed me and played with me.  So I think I can let her slide on this one.

Hey Bro....how do you like my clock!!  To bad I didn 't think of it earlier :(     Next time for sure!!

Tomorrow morning I'm going to get my "spa" treatment and look spiffy for the big day on Saturday.  I can't wait, I don't know if I'll be able to sleep Friday night, I'm just so excited!!!!  I can't wait for the train ride either.  And..............mom has something up her sleeve too, but she can't share it here until Saturday.  You'll like it, it's a good plan.

Got to go on a mini vacation today!!!!

Hey Everybody!!


I got to go on a mini vacation today for a few hours.  I went and stayed with Pap Lucas this afternoon, this was my first time staying with him without mom and dad around.  Lets just say.....I can't wait till the next time, only if mom knew how spoiled I'll be when I'm with him.

It was a very nice day out today, I was outside for about an hour this morning watching mom work......hey someone has to supervise around here!! 

And today is a big day for the firedogs, they are getting a little brother today named Sparky, I can't wait to meet him on Saturday.  Hey Kevin, you better hold sparky tight.....he'll be the spotlight of the day!!

Mr H and Mrs B.......my paws are together every night hoping you'll make it here to PA.

Blog a day has been broken.....

No pictures today.

Mom forgot to update my blog last night........I left her go because she did a really good job posting everyday for almost a month!! 

Summer vacation is going great having mom home.  She's not rushing around in the morning getting ready for work and making me breakfast at 5:30 AM....now it's a relaxed morning getting up around 7:30-8:00 sometimes 10:00.

The reunion is 4 days away.....we can't wait!! 

I have my paws together for Mr. H and Mrs. B to be there.  So far is looking good, hopefully all the paw prints will fall in place.

Mom got up the morning and trimmed the shrubbery.... They were getting a little overgrown. Looks good!! She mowed the yard too!! Good job!!
