I'm soooooo upset with my mom....

Hey Everybody!!

I'm so upset with my mom, she promised a high paw five video production....plan was to do it tonight.  Well....she went for her camera to take a picture.  Turned the camera on and the battery was flashing.  So she went to her camera bag for a recharged battery and the charger to recharge this one.  Guess what.....the charger is missing and so is the recharged battery. 

Mr H's mom broke her camera and mom lost the battery and charger.  Just what are we going to do with our moms.  Seems as if the firedogs have better pawtrol than we do......we need to meet with them and get their secrets.

It was on Fox news earlier that 70 dogs have died as a result of eating chicken jerky treats made from chicken that has come from China. Kingdom Pets brand from Costco is one of them. Also certain Blue Buffalo brand pet foods have a recall for the same thing.

Hey Everybody!!

Mom went to work this morning and said she'd be back soon.  I went in the bedroom, watched out the windows a little bit and soon I found myself taking a nap.  I looked at the clock and it said 9:30 am.  Ok...mom's not gonna be home for awhile.  So, i went back to snoozyland.

Soon I hear my name being called.  It's mom!  She's home!  She's home early!  I got up and started running around pretending I was on my guard duty, but I don't think she bought that one bit.  She said "Abby, I caught you sleeping on the job, just what am i gonna do about you". 

Well....all in all, mom is on Thanksgiving break, whooohooo!!

Clean up day....

No pictures today.

Just a quick catch up.
It's official, the truck is totaled. As of right now, mom does not want to get any kind of vehicle to replace it. Her point is, she doesn't want a $25,000 plus hanging over her head to pay it off. Maybe it'll be different after time passes....but dad feels it needs to be done NOW.

We had company last night. Dottie and Bruce were here for a little while. Mostly because Dotti ordered some scentsy stuff and was here to pick it up. Dotti was holding me and petting me too! So was Bruce...I liked the attention.

Today mom went out and cleaned up the yard....leaves leaves and more leaves. Now the yard is finally cleaned up, but I'd say for about an hour or so until the next batch falls down. You know what that means.....clean up again! Anything to keep mom busy.

Dad is hollaring at the Buffalo Bills saying it's a let down and a big disappointment. He said "Its like they were in a train wreck". So I don't think it's a good day for the Bills fans. Besides....dad has the buffalo bills game streaming online, his phone going for another game and he's flipping back and forth between 2 games on tv. That's nuts!

Dr. Abby is on duty.....

Hey Everybody!!

Mom's luck hasn't been so good lately.

Our alarm went off at 5:30 this morning, got up and got a shower. Mom made me some breakfast and she was off to work. On her way to work a deer ran out in front of her and she swerved and hit a pole.

Mom couldn't get out of the drivers side door, she couldn't get out the passenger side door either. She had to crawl to the back and get out the back door.

A girl drove past and stopped and called 911 for mom. She said, when you come around that corner, it looks like this is a truck parked here to go hunting...but when i seen the pole on top of the truck I knew something was wrong.

The fire department came and mom thought of Uncle Kevin and the Firedogs. He came over and asked mom 3 questions. What day is it? Wedensday. What holiday is coming up? Thanksgiving. Who is the president?? Bailout Obama. His response to that....aint that the truth.

He took mom's blood pressure, at the time it was 128 over 98. He said it's high, but with what happened its gonna be.

Another guy came and asked if the airbags deployed, mom said no. Did the passenger side airbag deploy? No, nothing did. They couldn't believe none of them did.

Soon mom was starting to hurt in her rib and back area, the longer she stood, the more it hurt. So when they asked if she wanted to go and get checked out, she said yes.

On the way to the hospital, mom's phone kept going off. They said answer your message, it will take your mind off the pain and keep you alert. So mom was texting on the way to the hospital. Can you imagine that??

Once at the hospital, they did an xray. Results was badly bruised ribs and she's to take it easy for a few days.

So she's home, did all her phone calls to the insurance. She got called from the body shop and they are thinking the truck is finished. Mom's really upset with that, she was hoping it could be fixed.

The plan is to take it easy, and if she doesn't....I'll be calling HB patrols on my pawphone.

OH...before I forget. The guy at the scene told mom. "You see that cable around the front end of your truck? Yeah. That cable saved your life, it stopped you from hitting the trees." Somebody was watching over mom....and I think it was Gma Mary sitting in the passenger seat.

A walk in the park......

Hey Everybody!!

We talk a walk in our local park yesturday afternoon, I just loved walking through all them leaves and hear them rustle around.  Today mom is going to be planting some tulip bulbs, she was so happy with them last spring.....she couldn't get over  how nice they were.

Hey Everybody!!

I got some anamail yesturday.....one thing I like is anamail, it always consists of goodies of some sort.  Mom's mail is usually bills, that's something I don't get, unless the oil man accepts doggie treats as payment.

Mom was thrilled to see the book, she really likes Alex from the Ice Road Truckers!  Thanks and a big high paw five to Mr.H and Mrs B.....I know how hard you worked at getting this all together, don't let auntie kim take all the credit.

Oh by the way....the book was personally signed to me as Abby Dabby Do and mom by Alex himself.....how cool is that?  I say it's pawfect!!

Mom told me and showed me a puppy from crews cockers and she's acting right like Mr. H's mom....all gaga over this puppy.  I do have to admit, she is cute!!  I think I would love to have a sister in the house.....the place does get lonely when everybody's out working.  I do have to admit, mom's been trying her hardest on trying to get this accomplished.  What do you think??

Hey Everybody!!

Mom is a few hours short of posting,  she fell asleep before 8 last night!!  Mom didn't even get to see her dancing with the stars.....she'll have to watch it online today after work........after she's done playing with me!!

We found Sissy's lobster outfit, and I must say, I wore it with pride!  I can only imagine Sissy laughing at me because I was the one wearing it this time.  But, I wore it only for a photo op.....and some treats of course!

Mr H looks like a cool harley dude!  No need for the HB patrols bro, I'm letting mom slide by on this one.
