Hey everybody!!
No pictures today. But today mom had a eye doctor appointment, I can tell you this much......she hates going to the eye doctor. She has a condition called Retina Pigmentosa and they claim in severe. Its recommended that she doesn't drive at night......the only time she does is to go to work. She figured it out, she's driving in complete darkness for about 2 1/2 months out of the year. I guess you have it figured out by now.....it's called night blindness. The best way to explain what she sees in daylight, take 2 toliet paper rolls and look through them, that's what she sees.....you guessed it, tunnel vision. This all goes with Retina Pigmentosa.
Getting back to the doctor appointment.....she goes every 3 months for check ups. 2 years ago her boss Karen told mom she's been noticing that mom's been having a hard time seeing right and walking into things etc. Now mom would always shrug it off......but since she was approached by it, she figured it must be bad. Here there was swelling inside her eyes (no pain and you can't see it) which was cutting off some vision. Well after 2 years of treatments and just about every check up was, there's very little change. But today was different......there was a substantial change and the doctor was very pleased with the results. Mom has gotten more vision back......she's a happy camper!
While mom was going through the drive though at McDonalds today....Mr. H's mom called. I heard they were talking for quite awhile. You just never know what them two are up to. I heard there's a rumor that some local media may be coming to the reunion too.......we'll see!
Mr H......good job on getting your mom to move on your blog. But one word of advice......make sure you don't cut her to much slack, she may take advantage of it and look for more excuses. Just a paw of concern.
Until next time.....High Paw Five

Hi Sis,
I'm happy to hear the good news about your moms eye appointment. I heard that you get to go riding with your mom more now that school is out. We love to go bye bye! Thanks for the advice on mom you know as well as I do that they can get in slack mode to easy! Mom is really getting excited about the reunion and dad told mom that she could go to the "Dog Show". When you think about it he really is right. With all these SBG Cockers in one place it will be a better dog show than Westminster mom says! Mom is going to groom us before we leave for Georgia so we will be looking our best too. Hope she doesn't mess up and get one of my legs cut too short! I want to look most handsome for all the girls! Mom says there is no way that Mrs. B can look anything but adorable. She is hoping that she will be able to see some of her other kids there too. That would be really nice. Local media that's cool what a lucky reporter to meet all of us and the very special people that we own! See ya soon! LOL Mr. H:)
