Here's our house decorated, all mom wants is snow for a white Christmas....been about 5 years since we had a white Christmas....crossing my paws. 

Along the driveway we have bradford pear trees...in the spring they bloom white and in the fall they bloom red...very nice trees!  Mom said they've been there for a full year now, hopefully they'll kick it in gear and start growing more.

The carolers were painted by mom's grandmother back in the 80's.  She didn't realize there was a rainbow on the photo until she downloaded it from her camera card.  She's says mem's watching to make sure her carolers are very well taken care off.

I'm off, I hear mom's cooking again!!

There's a cocker spaniel on tv....but not as cute as me, only SBG cockers are cuties!!

 Thanksgiving day came and it left me exhausted.  I went from getting a bath to hosting the Macy's Thanksgiving parade to judging at the dog show.  After doing all the tv work, we went to Arlene's house for the turkey.  Sure enough there was a bowl there waiting for me!! Boy did I ever gattention...especially from Mary and Frankie.

After we came back home...I was found on the couch just snoozing away....maybe a snore or two came out.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!! 

We celebrate Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday in November, has been an annual tradition in the United States since 1863, when during the Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national day of thanksgiving to be celebrated on Thursday, November 26.

The event that Americans commonly call the "First Thanksgiving" was celebrated to give thanks to God for helping the Pilgrims of Plymouth Colony survive their first brutal winter in New England.  The first Thanksgiving feast lasted three days, providing enough food for 53 pilgrims and 90 Native Americans.  The feast consisted of fish (cod, eels, and bass) and shellfish (clams, lobster, and mussels), wild fowl (ducks, geese, swans, and turkey), venison, berries and fruit, vegetables (peas, pumpkin, beetroot and possibly, wild or cultivated onion), harvest grains (barley and wheat), and the Three Sisters: beans, dried Indian maize or corn, and squash.  The New England colonists were accustomed to regularly celebrating "Thanksgivings"—days of prayer thanking God for blessings such as military victory or the end of a drought.


There's my lesson for Thanksgiving!!

Dr. Appointment today...mom is going to get her stitches out and see when she can go back to work. I'm hoping sge can go back December 6th, she's driving me nuts!! I enjoy the company, but I also enjoy the me times!!

Cleaning Leaves

No pictures today.

But today I was outside running around minding my own business, and all of a sudden I heard this noise.  It was mom on the lawn tractor, I barked at her!!  Well, I just ran up the bank, then down the bank...kept doing this. 

Mom came over and lifted me up and carried me over to the mower....I rode around on her lap as she was cleaning the yard!!...Hey, at least I got a ride in for the day.  If Mr. H can ride in a big truck...I can ride on a tractor!

Dad wasn't to amused by it, he just said that something was started now with the mower....he might be onto something.  I know I wouldn't mind going for rides more often, I just sat there like a queen!!

Mom's Christmas lights are going to turn on tonight...she'll get pictures.

Gotta go...going to make some zippy's for supper!!

Vistors Today

We had visitors this morning...I liked playing with Tommy.  He would run and I'd keep up with him, then he'd throw my toys and I'd fetch.  Christina just enjoyed holding me, and so did her mom.  Thanks for the visit!  Come back soon!

After company left...didn't take long for me to find the couch for a quick snooze

I didn't tear off the monkey's arm....It wasn't me, it was them no see'ems again!!

Sitting pretty for my Christmas Picture!

Tonight mom was up to decorating one of our Christmas Trees.  She tells me there's usually a total of about 14 trees ranging from 2ft to 8 ft tall...but she's only putting 2 up this year.  I don't think she trusts me for some reason...it's not like i'd go under and pull the tree skirt like I did the other night...but hey, the tree kept standing!!

We'll be working on more this week, I'll keep posting pictires as things get done!!

You've Got To Be Kidding!!!!

Mom shampooed her carpets today....and while the  carpet was drying, she put these things on my paws!!  I looked like the dogs that pull the sled!!  Mom says it's best if I wear these because of the chemicals...I guess she's right, but still...you've got to be kidding me...

Mom's Surgery

Dr Abby to the fix!!

As you can see, I'm playing doctor tryting ot help mom with her ice pack.
Surgery went well for mom...but now she's going nuts with not being able to do anything. 
The one afternoon she went into work and had lunch with them, she likes the people she works with,
and for what I understand...she's a big prankster at work....never know what she's up to.

Mom's next appointment is on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving.  She'll be getting her stitches out.
I told her I can take care of that for her...just let me nibble on them and they'll come out....teehee.
They'll decided then when she can go back to work...hopefully soon!!  All we do during the day is
watch soap operas!!  Her favorite is One life to live...used to be guiding light, but they took that off the air.

Christmas Lights??

Well tonight I saw Christmas lights for the first time, and then came a tree in my living room!!  At first I didn't understand until mom told me about Christmas time.  I think it's going to be a wonderful first Christmas experience...I can't wait to see what Santa will be bringing me since I'm a little angel...lol

Also...this should not be allowed.  A law should be passed for this and signed by Obama!  I'm really really upset over this....we ran out of cottage cheese!!!  Can you believe mom would do such a thing?  Did you ever see that redi whip commerical where they get their desert and look at it until they get the creme...well I did that with the egg tonight.  Just looked at it...and looked at it...and looked at it....looked at mom...then I started eatting after mom said we have no cottage cheese. 

This weekend we're going to be busy getting the rest of the Christmas stuff out...can't wat!!  Mom will take a picture of me this weekend helping.

 Today we went along with Bob and Sherrie...they adopted Dove from SBG.  I was happy to see the mob again!  I was busy running around and meeting everybody, I even went to meet Janice...very lovely lady!!

When we got to Mary's house, Dove went to Bob right away...it was as if she knew.  Dove stayed at Bob's side, which had him tickled.

We got to ride in their Hummer...we were in the back.  Plenty of room for us to move around, but we mostly we're on the pillow that mom brought for us to lay on.  At one point, we both stood up and just checked over everything to make sure all was going as planned. 

On the way home, we stopped at Arby's...Dove and I shared a roast beef sandwich...that was the first time I had to share my meal.  I ate mine and looked over at Dove and she was holding her sandwich looking at me saying....I still have mine and you don't, so back off!!

When we got to Bob's house, Dove's tail was wagging non stop...she went around room to room inspecting and checking everything out.  She was enjoying her new house, there's plenty of room for her to roam around...more than I have, I'm jealous, but there's talk of mom and dad building a new house, a bigger house....so we'll see.

We had a happy ending kind of day.  Sad to see SBG loose one, but happy to see a SBG dog in a happy home!!  She will be spoiled rotten to the core....that much I can guarentee!!

Intermediate Classes Completed!!!!

I graduated from my intermediate classes tonight.  Break out the egg and cottage cheese!!

Tonight's test included an obstacle course where treats were hidden under frisbee's, balls and just go to mom and sit down.  I did it twice with no problems.  Then we moved onto heeling...no problems anymore...mom was so happy!!  I caught on to heeling about two weeks ago with all the hardwork put into it.  After that, we had to do a sit and stay, I had to stay sitting in that spot for 2 minutes.  I didn't want to do it at first, but then I did....I sat for 4 minutes, they just wanted to see how long I'd stay.  I got tired of it so I just got up and walked to mom for my treat.    After that, we did the sit/stay and mom had to walk around me....I couldn't get up, just sit there.....no problem.  By the way...this was all done out in the store with a lot of distractions going on...but my mind was with mom.

On the way home...I slept.  The drive to our classes are about an hour drive each way.  So I thank mom for taking me to the classes...we put 1280 miles on her truck since day one of our classes....we did 16 weeks worth.  Now we can go to Advance...that's sometime early 2011, they are going to call us since mom requested weekends.

Tonight was for Gma Mary and Gpa Philip!!  Thinking of your Mr. H!!
